Delivery Info and Terms & Conditions of Use


North Scotland, UK Islands, Northern Ireland and all other NON mainland locations incur an additional surcharge. Unfortunately we are unable to deliver any items to the Channel Islands.

Please note the next working day delivery service is reliant on courier performance. Performance can be affected by adverse weather conditions and during busy periods when there is increased freight in the courier network. Please bear this in mind to allow time for your goods to be delivered.
Delivery Conditions

For any items with the next day delivery option selected, payments cleared before 3pm Monday to Friday goods will be shipped the same day. Delivery is usually next working day excluding bank holidays, although it can be 2 days depending upon location, weather conditions and is reliant on courier performance.

A signature is always required upon delivery. All goods are covered for loss or damage whilst in transit. If your item is damaged it is crucial that you write ‘DAMAGED’ on the delivery note when you sign for the item, In signing for the item you are agreeing that the item has been delivered in perfect condition and we will not be able to hold the courier responsible for the damage outside of 7 days from delivery. We will cover the return cost for goods signed for as damaged. The customer will be responsible for returning the goods to us for any other reason.

Any damage on delivery must be reported within 7 days. If your item is a gift it must be opened, inspected and tested within this time period to ensure it is in good order. Claims outside of this period cannot be validated.

Returns Policy

If returning an item to us it is essential that you contact us first for an appropriate RETURNS REFERENCE NUMBER AND RETURN ADDRESS.

14 Day Right to Cancel (New Government Consumer Contracts Regulations)

Valid for all contracts entered into on or after 13th June 2014

You have the right to cancel your contract within 14 calendar days without giving a reason. The cancelation period will expire 14 calendar days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party (other than the carrier) as indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Kids Cars Direct Ltd, Building 4 Cursley Distribution Park, Curslow Lane, Shenstone, Worcestershire DY10 4DX, Via email or telephone located on the contact us section of our website) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use our model cancellation form here but it is not obligatory. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancelation on a durable medium (e.g. by email) without delay.

To meet the cancelation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancelation period has expired. Upon receipt of your cancelation request we shall in all cases provide a returns number which must be included in your return and the address of where to return your goods.

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (excluding supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and no later than –

(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or

(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

(c) If there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods whichever is the earliest.

The consumer shall be responsible for the safe return of the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation of this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You are also liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature characteristics and functionality of the goods.

The item returned must be brand new / unused otherwise the refund will not be granted. Please make every effort to keep the original packaging as transporting unboxed products by courier can cause a lot of problems.

We accept all major credit and debit cards registered to a UK address.

VAT Policy

All prices show are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

Title of Goods

Title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid in full.

Quality and Use of Equipment

We make every effort to ensure that the products advertised on our site are of a high quality. We are governed by the manufacturer’s ability to provide the quality of product. Some of the budget vehicles may have minor scratches or imperfections on the body. These imperfections can be caused during the moulding process and we can’t guarantee they won’t be present on some vehicles.

Toys Toys licensed vehicles are manufactured under supervision from the parent car companies engineers in Italy. The build quality, paintwork and electrics are of much higher standard and are noticeable better than the budget range and some other brands of Licensed vehicles.

We also stock other Licensed vehicles manufactured by Rastar and Dongma. These are again fully endorsed by the parent companies and carry the genuine badges on them. Rastar products are manufactured to a very high standard and are easy to assemble. This range enables you to own a licensed product with a painted finish but with the great features of the budget range including MP3 input, lights, remote control and more.
Dongma Licensed products although painted, may have small bodywork imperfections and require more assembly depending on the model. This is reflected in the price when compared a 12v Toys Toys product without any features that costs much more.
Each Licensed product includes the manufacturer name on the product page if you are unsure.

Warranty Conditions

The warranty period is from date of delivery and for domestic use only.

Note Rev2 01.11.19. Special promotion launched 01.11.19 states for goods purchased from 01.11.19, warranty will not start until 25.12.19.

We offer a parts only warranty as described below. If the customer is unable to rectify the problem the goods would be covered by a return to base parts warranty.

Electric vehicles – 12 Months main plastic body, 12 Months motors, 12 months mechanical, 12 months electrical system. Batteries are not covered under the warranty as perishable items and they must be handled and charged correctly. (Min charge 6 hours, max charge 10 hours) If left in storage please charge at least once a month.

Wear and tear to wheels isn't covered under warranty

Should you encounter a problem with your purchase please contact us with your order details. When the fault has been diagnosed the replacement part will be sent in the post or with a courier for the customer to fit.

We also have technical back up from the UK based service centre for Toys Toys licensed products.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulation (WEEE)

You can now recycle your old electricals with us. If you’re buying a new electrical item, we will recycle your old one for free.

Why recycle?

Unwanted electrical equipment is the UKs fastest growing type of waste. Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled, saving natural resources and the environment. If you do not recycle, electrical equipment will end up in landfill where hazardous substances will leak out and cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and also human health.

We can help

We are pleased to offer our customers the chance to recycle their old electrical items. If you have bought a new ride on car from us, you may send us your old ride on car. Just send the item, within 28 days of your new purchase to: Building 4 Cursley Distribution Park, Curslow Lane, Shenstone, Worcestershire, DY10 4DX. Please note you will be liable for the postage costs to send to us.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.

What is WEEE?

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
